I wish some Elizabethan terms found in Shakespeare were still around. I’d find it useful to say “Alas; alack!” throughout the day. Also “prithee,” “anon,” “marry” (meaning “indeed”), “fain,” and “base.”

My favorite would be to say I am “out of all compass.”
